After two succesful versions, held in 2014 and 2015, each with a large attendance of the public, ART/Cartagena International Art Fair will be back in 2016 from January 8 to 12, to position itself as an unprecedented Caribbean fair circuit that welcomes an important number of prestigious galleries in two location within the walled center of Cartagena de Indias: la Casa 1537 (Gallery platform) and at Hotel Bóvedas de Santa Clara (Proyect Room platform).

An attractive VIP program, an academic program, parallel activities, top tourist venues and gastronomical offers of the city, will be a part of what ART/Cartagena 2016 will have for its exhibitors, collectors and visitors.

ART/Cartagena is a boutique-fair, given its small and exclusive spaces set for high-quality art exhibitions. It is aimed to offer a space for traditional collectors and for new audiences and buyers, taking advantage of the large attendance of tourists and interested public that visit the city during the period when the fair is held. This makes it a unique experience in the country due to the exhibition model and the relation it enables among galleries, collectors, visitors and specialists.

ART/Cartagena, International Art Fair of Cartagena, is organized by Proyecto 3.3 lead by, well known Colombian Cultural Business Manager, Andrea Walker Posada. Art/Cartagena has the support of different public and private institutions both in the city of Cartagena and the rest of Colombia.

ART/Cartagena 2016 will feature:

• Colombian and foreign art galleries.
• Proyect Rooms.
• Boutique spaces transformed into fair venues: la Casa 1537 and Hotel Bóvedas de Santa Clara.
• An outstanding VIP program.
• An academic program.
• A social responsibility program.

Exhibition Spaces

For its 2016 edition, the fair will be displayed in two venues:

Casa 1537 (General Gallery Platform) and Hotel Bóvedas de Santa Clara (Project Room Platform).

Casa 1537, will hold 35 booths with a selection of national and foreign galleries with the best of the modern and contemporary art production.

Hotel Bóvedas de Santa Clara will show solo proposal by gallery represented artists, within the Project Room Platform at ART/Cartagena.
